After receiving a BFA and MFA from Pratt Institute, New York, Tone Aanderaa settled in the old family place in Hardanger, Norway – where the fjord and the mountains, the light, nature, and animal life, have resonated in paintings, poetry, and stories which followed. She presently resides in Ste-Marie-Geest, a little village in the French part of Belgium.
